SYNOPSIS

MLB asked for a richly crafted world to engage existing fans, while capturing the eyes of new ones. 

Baseball is rooted in superstition and ritual. These concept frames step back and asks: what if Michael Bay made an obscenely over the top movie about the superstitions of baseball as though they were very, very real. 

So then I made a fake title sequence about baseball supersitions. 

OVERVIEW

Diving deep into baseball for two weeks, the client's ask was to wow the eye and speak to fans directly. The final concept was to flip the superstition of baseball, taking it from within an individual's mind and applying it globally. Why are there military flyovers before big games? What if the Green Monster was real? What would it do to Boston if you accidentally stepped on the baseline? How did fireworks start? Were they used to fight the Green Monster?

Yes. Yes, they were.
