SYNOPSIS
_
An internal project exploring the idea of "How to make Why We Make." The end result serves as a metaphor for the creative process: the creation of delicate forms via an aggressive process. AKA, starting with a blank sheet of paper, freaking out, getting anxious, and then designing something pretty.
OVERVIEW
_
Inspired by Jack du Rose, the jeweler responsible for Damien Hirst's For The Love of God. Jack first designs his delicate forms digitally via Z Brush, then, with fire and sharp steel.
The idea of delicate forms created by an aggressive process were a fitting metaphor for the creative ideation process. The angst and excitement of staring at a blank page can be as overwhelming as it addictive. This concept dove headfirst into that reality.
